I want to ask someone told me that it is harmful to erase CD-RW for CD-RW drive lens?i want technical answer?

Answer:
Will do no harm at all - it is simply using the drive lens in the same way it would normally to write data, only that it is scrubbing the disc instead.
you can erase files from a cd- rw cd . it will not do anything to ur cd rw driver
eraseing CDs dose nething to your CD-RW Drive, is like u are formating your HDD ...i just know that your data is not safe on a CD-RW...use CD-R or pendrives
it is no different for the head than writing a CD.
no damage is done by erasing/formatting
There's no problem with that. A lens has a long life & if there's a problem replace it, it's very cheap.
