I want to connect my V3r to my PC. How?

I have the cable needed but I think I need a driver? Don't know much about that..Installing etc. Any help would be nice. Thanks

Answer:
You need the driver CD and it usually is on the Motorola phone tools CD.
Sorry, what in the heck is a V3r? If I knew that, I could probably help you or somebody else.
If you mean a VCR then it all depends which way you need the signal to go.

If you want to record from Tape to PC to convert to DVD for example, you need a "Video capture card" these can be USB2 devices or internal PCI cards, I'd always reccomend PCI.

Connect VCR to this and also to the LINE IN on the soundcard (might be worth investing in a small video editing volume control unit as well, levels are a constant problem on audio otherwise)

Install the software card comes with, or get something useable like "movie Edit pro" and away you go.

BTW remember commecrially produced VHS tapes have copy protection on them too.

If you mean a mobile phoine, read the manual for the phone and install the software it came with
