Answer:
No problem just remove all the libraries from I Tunes, then allow I tunes to search your computer for all music. It will then find the files on your external drive and you will be able to play them. the problem you have caused by moving them is I Tunes is looking for them where they used to be. Hope this helps.

Go to www.ilounge.com they are a brilliant iPod site and include software downloads that allow you to back your iPod back up onto computer, I have used this as I lost all my sounds on itunes in a similar way to you. Hope this helps and you recover your tunes.

its it not visible in your external hard drive or they are corrupted?
and there is a way to recover your files you have delete in your lap
