I uploaded 2GB data into my flash drive and after that when my friend used it on his system?

He couldn't be able to recognise this drive in MY COMPUTER screen. He tried using disk manager and did something. After that the original files disappeared though disk properties is showing used space as 2GB. Now we can be able to copy new files into this flash drive.
How to get back old files.
Please help.

try a free data recovery program

lots can be found on www.download.com
It's an allocation table problem - if you want the data that's un that device you will need to use uneracer software you could find at download.com

If you're uninterested in data and just want to recover your space lost then all you have to do is format the device. When it's visible from my computer all you do is right click on it and select format - this will remove any data on the device (Technically it won't but for your purposes it will)

A+ you now have 2gb free.
