How do I fix my burner?

I Have a internal CD, External DVD burner when i try and burn music windows Media doesnt detect my device. They perfectly when I use them on my other computers.

Oh, it sounds like you need a firmware update. I don't recommend this for less-than-hardcore users, you may want to leave that drive in a pc that likes it and get another, newegg.com has dvd-dl burners under $30.
Sounds like your drivers are not up to date on that one system. If you install the burner that came with the drive it should fix the problem even for WMP.
I suspect your computer only has USB v1.1.

Some external CD/DVD burners only work with USB v2.0, not USB v1.1.
