My webcam picture is fine and my picture is fine on the other person's computer too. However, they can hear my perfectly, but when my webcam is in use, my volume on the WHOLE computer distorts, even on things that aren't webcam related. It sounds slowed down and very LOW.
Any suggestions?

Buy a better sound card, or a better computer.
Could be the sound card isn't keeping up with the amount of sound data it's getting or the cpu isn't passing the data fast enough to the sound card.
