Hi there.I have this Compaq Armada e500 Laptop, and just lately, it was not functioning due to an internal error, the mainboard was spoilt. Therefore, a friend of mine said that i can use my Compaq Armada e500 Hard-drive to recover the information using an external hard-drive.
Can you please assist me about how to get my information?

you can plug the compaq's hard drive into another PC and get the data off of it. you'll need a laptop harddrive to IDE (or USB) adapter ($5-$20 on ebay) then just hook it up, turn on the 2nd PC and it should show up as a new drive.
all is good .. but if you have few accounts and the account that you are trying to rcover files from is passworded then unfortunatley you cannot cos all file are incrpted.. hope you dont have a password on your account ..
