Can combining partitions increase the RAM?

No. Unless you are talking about memory partitioning, which, if you are, you wouldn't be asking the question here.
No. Ram is short term memory using memory sticks, and partitions are part of the hard drive (long term memory). Apples and oranges.
NO, but Virtual Memory, YES. However, virtual memory is very slow. Better just add more RAM (module).
