Problem with computer/IPod...?

When I plug my IPod in, it says USB device can perform faster with hi-speed USB 2.0 port. Whne searching it says it can't find USBSTOR.SYS. What do I do???

Answer:
is the port USB 1 or 2? isuspect it's 1. I dont think Ipods will work on USB1 I think they require USB 2+.
if it is USB 1 run an update from Microsoft.

This is why I dont buy cross platform hardware.
Creative puts out a nice MP3 Player...
buy a mac then ipods just work !
Ignore that just plug ur ipod and open itunes!!!
when you plug it in, it's true, it will work faster with a USB 2.0 port. if you don't have one, though, then you'll just have to live without it. it doesn't really matter if you use it or not. it will be slower, though, if you don't. a USB 2.0 port is usually located on the front of the computer, for easy access.
I think it can find the system software
Because ipod's are plug n play.
No need to install softwares to work.
Most probably your usb "software"
I think you need to upgrade to 2.0
read manuals or return it
just IGNORE it, it will go away.
you should check out this site where you can get it for free
