Could someone bring up to date me whats wrong when my headset will play nouns but i cant discuss out of it?

i can hear nouns bout cant nobody hear me it just stop workin

conceivably your microphone volume is muted in system volume
be it working previously then

somebody turned the mic volume bad
mic cable defective
mic cable not attached
mic defective
make sure that the jack is plugged into the correct port objective that it is plugged into the PINK port which is next to the speaker port(green).if it is contained by the correct port and it still not working consequently do the following.

go to control panel

afterwards click on sound and audio device

next on the volume tad go to device volume,consequently click on advancedafter which a volume control tab will open

on this unmarked tab look to see if there is a mic control tab if then travel to option on the said volume tab click on properties
surrounded by the properties box then look for mic when you locate it if the box beside is not checked afterwards do so after this close the properties box.by clicking on OK

next within the volume box go to mic at the bottom of the mic tab check to see if the MUTE box is checked except do so, this should solve the problem
