Thermal Paste and Thermal Grease?
If they are different which one is better?
Can you please recommend some specific brand of thermal compund or doesn`t matter what its called?

They are indistinguishable. The other type is thermal pad (not semi-solid).
Aside from AS5, another pious brand popular w/ enthusiasts is Zalman STG-1.
But do take facts that it is the heatsink that cools the processor and not that thermal grease. It just insures optimum steam transfer from the processor heatspreader to the underpinning of the heatsink.

Same thing, and yes the Artic Silver 5 have been proven that it make a difference over other brands. I cant remember the exact source i read that in, but if I do, I will permit you know.
