Will vista work for me?

I own a Intel Pentium 4 CPU 2.93GHz 1 gig of RAM
on a Intel motherboard

beside a Nvd Geforce 7800 Gt graphic card

Answer:
I would utter go to Microsoft and download the Vista Advisor program and run it. It will check and recount you what will and what wont work. I suspect you Nvd GeForce may not be supported just base on all those who are have issues with Nvidia and Vista.

Personnaly, I wont install it however on anything I use daily.
I infer there is a Vista Basic Version that will work next to your 32 bit processor, personally I'd a bit stick with Windows XP Professional a more stable operating system, til Vista comes into full force next to the Dual Core Processors
i'd say you call for at least 2 GB of RAM to run vista comfortably.
vista will work but install more memory., around 2gb or more for better acting out
