Restoring the Computer to an Earlier Operating State
NOTICE: Before you restore the computer to an earlier operating state, hide away and close any open files and exit any

I'm pretty verbs even though I know my way around a computer pretty very well. It should say what a code 28 money. If its still being chance then geek squad usually have fair prices.
Have you looked contained by the control panel under 'sounds and audio devices' and made sure that the mute button is unchecked?
