Speakers problem...?

my speakers work good on most game sites but do not work on card sites. i have went to control panel to sound and everything looks fine there. i have checked the volume controls on the desktop and they are all the way up. as it is on the games it is very low sound. the speakers do work and are installed right. anyone have any suggestions? i also have java and flash player installed. i have tried everything. can someone help me? it is an IBM computer.

Answer:
Some game sites don't have sound, especially many card sites.

Sometimes sound problems on certain places can be software issues. Usually the websites have help sections to fix the problems that you might have. For example, on YouTube, they have a help section for people who have sound problems on their site at: http://www.google.com/support/youtube/bi...

If the sound is quiet on everything, you should try different speakers. I had cheapy IBM speakers that didn't play very loud. But when I bought different speakers (ones with an "amplified speaker system"), this was no longer an issue for me. With the new speakers, it gets extremely loud with the volume only put up to halfway.
There is nothing wrong with your PC and sound. It looks like the games you are playing don't have any sound built in.(card sites)

hope that helps
