HELP!! My computer "mouse" is acting up, it will not scroll...?

Today, Right Now...my mouse will not roll it takes forever to move it where I need to...this just started today...is there a way to use my keyboard keys to "point n clik"?
Or is it time for a new mouse pad??

Clean the ball and inside of the mouse. It's probably clogged up.
Have you tried cleaning the mouse ball and where it goes?
You might try remove the mouse ball and clean inside.
