Macbook and USB storage device?

I have a Macbook. I have a Sony Walkman mobile phone. The mobile phone (W950) has a 4gb hard drive. I want to put some music on the mobile phone.

The software CD that came with the phone is not mac compatible so I have two choices - Bluetooth the music files one by one or connect the phone to my mac by USB and drag and drop the files.

Problem is, my Macbook doesn't recognise my phone. When i checked System Profiler the phone is listed but it doesn't appear on the desktop so i'm unable to drag and drop.

This is starting to bug me now. I'm not great with technology so can anyone help please?

Your best bet is to see if Sony makes drivers for Mac but probably not since drivers for Mac would be in low demand. You will probably have to use the Bluetooth solution. Great thing about owning a Mac. You'll end up with problems like this.
