How to use a card reader ?

Answers:
What type of card reader and what sort of interface (USB perhaps?) does it utilize?

Generally, you simply plug in the card reader to your computer, let it be recognized and any necessary drivers loaded, then insert the proper media (card) into the reader and your computer should automatically detect the media and prompt you for what you would like to do - i.e. format the media, open the folder to view files on it, etc.
plug it in to a free usb port and inset MS or SD cards in it
You have to put a memory card in and it reads it for you.

The card reader is usually picked up by the PC and given a drive letter, in my case, drive G, It is read like a CD/DVD, you can read off or Write on to.
just plug it in to a usb port via the provided usb cable. then just insert your memory card into the proper slot. the OS will then detect it right away. no additional drivers needed. (for win 2000/XP/Vista)

good luck. hope this helps.
Some readers are quirky. Mine requires some cards to be put in up-side-down, and others the right-way-up
Plug it in and take memory card out of phone camera etc then put it in the card reader simple hu.
