Why is our computer's clock still running correctly even we on and off our computer?

How our computer know the time .

Answers:
Your CMOS (Complementary metal–oxide–semiconductor) battery provides enough power for your motherboard to keep track of the time.

For all the information you'll ever need to know about CMOS check the link in my sources.

Hope this helps!

You have a battery on your MotherBoard called a CMOS battery - this allows your MB to keep the time.
it works on cmos battery inside the system unit
You set the time, or your Hardware Maker, then there is a CMOS batteryin your Mother Board ljust like your Cloko or handwatch. It conitinues the time even if you are not riunning compuiter..The life of this battery is normaly 4 years. afte 4 years..you will start getting messegs about time abd bios rest to default. then you have to change the CELL/ Battery..and it continues...
there is a battery inside you computer that keeps you CMOS running which keeps the time running
cmos battery inside the CPU
it has a cmos battery that looks like a nickel. it maintains programming. if you were to shut the computer off and take this battery off the board, the clock wouldnt run.
I thought about it too!! :O And I don't know why, but I read these answers... Cool, huh?? ;D
Isn't that wonderful? Now you know even a desktop PC comes with "battery included".
because of a battery in-board in a cmos memory
Theres a small battery inside your computer on what is called the motherboard. the little battery works a lot like the 9volt you can put into a clock, so when the power goes out, the battery keeps the clock going, so when the power comes back, it can still display the correct time. the battery is also used to store other data, like hardware information and stuff like that. these batteries last a very long time, around 4 years. they use the same batteries used in watches, only its a larger disk.
