Putting in 2 RAMS. Computer stuff.?
They are both 256 MB but i only have one instill in my computer.
If i put both of the RAMs will it make a difference or make it go faster, or should i just leave one 256 MB ram in the computer. Or should i put both 256 MB rams in it.

If you have 2 available sockets then yes, it should make your computer go smoother. More RAM is always better.
doesn't matter they are both 256. it will speed things up. put both in unless the original one is 256 then as i said doesn't matter any. aslong as you add more ram its going to go smoother.

my system came with 256 inside the laptop,i installed 512 in the slot you can get to,it now had 756,runs like a champ,you need at least 512 for dsl,so I would put a 512 in it

First off, try to get 1G or more. Yes, indeed, you'll notice the difference.
Here's something I just learned myself:
If you are going with 1G, get a PAIR of identical 512MB sticks of ram. Depending on your computer/motherboard, your system will run in DUAL channel mode which is supposedly quicker.
If you go with 2G of ram, buy two identical 1G sticks.
