My computer has Windows 2000. What happens is that I start to load it up and it will say Hard Disk Not Found...Fail to Load Up. then it says to insert a disk and press enter...well i dont have the disk it is talking about but i need it to work. There was a sound when it worked and now it doesn't make a sound. Is there any other way to make it work?

Your hard disk has failed, which means the C: drive has broken.
If your computer is still under warranty, they will replace the hard drive for free. If not, you'll have to buy a hard drive (not a new computer) and reinstlal Windows.
If you wish to recover the data off the hard drive, that's another story.
is your hard drive showing up in your bios on your pc,when you frist turn the pc on you need to find the f2 esc or delete botton to go into your pc setup in your bio's to see if the hard drive shows up in your bio's or not
