Why cant i get into Bios?

so im freaking trying to install D-Ban Nuke Disc to wipe out my HDD, but i cant freaking get to the Bios setup page when the computer starts. Ive tried pressing F1, F2, ESC, DEL, CTRL+ALT+DEL, and all those combined, but it just loads up to windows. what the freak?

AMD 2200+ with BioStar Motherboard. Reason i wanna get to bios is to get to MSDOS and type "autonuke" or whatever and its suppoesed to clean out my HDD

help?

Answers:
this might sound dumb but if its not f2 its probably f8.and by the way i dont think thats a real command, thats not anywhere close to how you delete your hard drive. i suggest you put in the install disc for your os, and reformat the old fashioned way.
umm
maybe it's F8
try booting off a windows 95 or 98 floppy..

fdisk, remove the partition(s) and reboot.. insta-nuked hard drive
Why do you need to go to BIOS to get to MSDOS? To select a boot disk other than your hard drive? Best way is to watch the bottom of the screen as your computer first starts up. Usually tells you which key to press. How about this, will your computer autoboot to a CD? If so then boot to your Windows install disk, it should take you to a command prompt where you can access the program you want to run.
you have alot to learn you can't type anything when your in the bios... you just alter the systems setting. and if you do that wrong your going to be in deep water, with no arms to swim with...

so my advice is don't mess about with something you don't know about...
I have D-Ban as well and its for linux not windows Thats why it don't work. Do you have winxp? if so, you can format with your cd. I format with a winme startup fat32, because my system is fat32. I used to have Ntfs, But it sucked. So I had to delete the partition that Ntfs was on. I don't devide up my 80 gig hdd. I have a AMD duron 1.2 ghz with a Biostar mobo. If you don't have a floppy with mestartup on it, got to Best Buy and get them to make you one at a small cost. Or not.
