Seek advise from a friend or shop. I am not sure about your location, but in Singapore, We can just choose the parts and can ask the shop to do the assembly for just S$15-$30. In this way I don't have to worry about dropping the chip accidentally and breaking it during assembly.
Good brands are usually expensive.

I got a custom computer built from carbonfrost systems for 675 plus shipping for my son. Its very good. Fast and powerful. It has good video card and he plays a lot of beefy games.
Contact them at support@carbonfrost.com (i think thats the email. you can go to their website to be sure). But yeah, they are very good at giving you the most bang for you buck while using the best parts.
