What should i look for wehn upgrading memory?

I have heard if u match the memry stick to the type of processor u can increase the speed of your processor. if this is true how do i find the right type of memry stick?

yes u have to match the memory stick and in order to that just take out the your memory stick and there will be the info on there its going to be on a little sticker
when you say memory stick do you mean a computer's internal memory or external like a flash drive or sony's memory stick? i'm going to pretend you mean internal memory.
memory that you can upgrade doesnt increase the speed of your processor, technically, although it can increase the speed of the system as a whole, depending on various factors, such as what do you use your computer for and the speed of the other parts of your computer in comparison.
