What is the best file system for linux and windows ?

i need to know something .. can windows under linux read the ext3 ??

i uses Win4Lin as windows enviroment under opensuse

so do i need to keep some drives in windows readable filesystem ? or can it read the ext2 whn installed under linux ..

some other thing . what is the best file system to choose from for linux to make the default filesystem for the above hard desk
fat32 ,ext2 , ext3 , resiserf , or what ??

I am not an expert in this area, but fat32 is reasonably stable under windows and readable by linux. When I had the two systems running together, I used fat32.
