My Computer is making a nonstop noise.?
Answers:
Ok, let me tell you what might be wrong
1) Power supply fan
2) The possessor's cooling fan
3) Hard desk
These are the only mechanical parts of your computer and the sound source,
Off-course you have the CD drive, DVD drive floppy drive, they are mechanical and may cause sound, but if they are the source of the sound you will hear it when you use it only, so I think they are out of our case at the moment
Solutions:-
First get close to your CPU, hear and determine what cases the sound
1. If it is power supply fan then Clean it with vacuum cleaner (suck not blow)
2. If it is the possessor cooling fan change it ASAP in is dangerous it may damage your computer's possessor which is the most expensive part while fan is very cheap to change
3. If it is your Hard disc that means it is telling you I will stop working very soon, back up all your data or replace it and you may use the old on as a back up only
Good luck
If it's clicking every 30 seconds, mmmmmp mmmmmmmmp,
then it's the "Click of death". Your hard drive will fail soon, backup everything NOW.

It is probably your power supply. I had one go bad on my Sony Vaio. I replaced it and the sound went away. Be sure you have some knowledge of computers is you are going to try to replace the part yourself. Even when unplugged, these power supplies hold voltage that is strong enough to kill you.
I would suggest getting the proper grounding equipment, or taking it to a repair shop if you arent comfortable doing it. Labor for this is probably pretty cheap since it is held in by 4 screws.
If it is not the power supply, it is most likely a fan. Again, if you feel comfortable, open up the computer case when you hear the noise. Fans are easily visible and usually easy to get to. Stick a pencil in the fan to get it to stop rotating. If the sound goes away, thats your problem. If not, my bet is on the power supply.
