Why cant i get into Bios?
i need to change the settings so that my CD will boot up before the OS (D BAN Nuke Disc)
comp: AMD 2200 Biostar Mobo... there is no prompt thatll allow me to access bios...

I think you have to press F8 after the first bios beep dont press just onced lay on it.
Man..i think you got locked out of the system's BIOS. If you sure what you're doing is right, then you might want to clear the BIOS settings. In most cases, all you have to do is to find a jumper cap close to a coin battery on your mobo and if it got 3 pin, place the cap to the other 2 pin. And then remove the battery for at least 10sec. But before that, open the case first, of course and remember not to plug in the system.
If this doesn't help, you better consult the BIOS manual or just call the shop representative from where you bought the system. Good luck.
Did you try the F1 key?
Or when your system comes up with the spalsh screen press ESC and then see what key it says to press.
