Which video card and which memory upgrade should I get?

Okay, I have a Dell Dimension 2400 and the recommended video cards for an upgrade is the Radeon 9250 (256mb) or the Radeon 7k (64mb), but I'm not sure shich one is better. Also, Im not sure if all memory is the same.I need 512mb and I dont know if I can purchase just any 512mb internal memory. Please help!!

Answers:
For your first question, the Radeon 9250 is a better upgrade than the Radeon 7k. The reason is that the 9250 has a better capacity. The 256mb is better than the 64mb and the 9250 video card will have a better output for gaming and high resolution images and screen quality. As for the second question, your right about not being able to purchase the first 512mb RAM module you see. The proper specifications for the RAM you are looking for is a 184-pin DIMM DDR PC2700 module. I sounds like a lot but it's not. Here is the link to where you can buy the RAM. I frequently purchase from them and they are trusted and well known.
Link can be found in sources area. Hope this helps!
If the recommended upgrade are the one's mentioned in question then, Radeon 9250(256MB) is the one to choose. If your reference is towards RAM module, then not all memory module are the same. They are of two types DDR1 AND DDR2.Where DDR2 variants are the most recent ones.
For compatibility you would have to see the ones used for your mother-board & purchase a similar one to make it work properly....
