Onboard is NEVER the solution for playing higher end video games. For starters, onboard uses your RAM's memory to act as the video memory. This right there will slow your system down. If you were playing older games, it wouldn't matter, onboard would be fine. In this case you'll want to dish out the cash to get a decent video card that will last you quite some time. DX10 just came out less than a year ago, and there aren't any DX10 games really out at this time. You should probably consider grabbing a DX10 card for your gaming since it'll give you the ability to play future games slated for release, like Crysis. A DX9 card will suffice, but it'll be not worth it in a few years, so you might as well invest in something that'll last at least 3-4 years. Look into the Nvidia 8000 series cards. A bit expensive, but will last you a long time.
I agree with Matthew. I think it uses the intel graphics media accelerator 950. Junk for any newer games cus it does not support texture and lighting or shaders that are required for good games. Like he said I would buy something in the geforce 8000 series, probably the 8600 GT or higher. Expect to pay at least $120 or more for a mid range DX10 card.

As you can see, the motherboard uses onboard graphics that shares upto 224mgs of your available system memory which will reduce the capacity of running programs accordingly. My recommendation would be to purchase a PCI-Express graphics card (listed above in the specs as supported) with dedicated graphics memory of at least 256mgs. I recommended this card for two reasons, 1) Its made by XFX which offers a standard lifetime warranty covering parts and labor on all their cards, something you don't find from other producers; and 2) This graphics card uses radiant heat sinks to disipate heat rather than fans which will allow this video card to cool better. I use 2 of these in SLI mode on my motherboard and never have any issues.
Wow onboard uses your System memory AS IN RAM to make your video... You will need to use a graphics card you can purchase them at a store but online at newegg.com is better because its usualy cheaper depending on what game like bf2 you need at least a 6600gs for good games
