Which processor is better between these two ?
intel celeron 1.10 GHz, Primary memory : 32 Kb, Secondary Memory : 128 Kb
intel pentium 3
primary memory : 32 Kb
Seconadary memory : 256 Kb
please explain me how these 2 processors are different ..what are primary and secondary memory ..thanks in advance

i'd say the Celeron, u didn't mention the speed of the P3, also, because of the memory, the memory levels are basically like having RAM on the CPU chip, the more memory the better, b/c it gives the CPU a place to store data while it's processing, the memory on the chips is much faster than having to wait on the Northbridge to send and retrieve that same data to RAM
the P3 really isn't my generation, so my knowledge on it is limited

Intel Celeron 1.10 ghz is better. Intel Pentium 3 i think is only about 400 mhz or lower. ghz is gigahertz (1000000000 hertz) and mhz is megahertz (1000000 hertz). So the celeron should be a lot faster. what you mean with primary memory is probably video card memory and it's in mb (megabytes) not kb (kilobytes). this is the memory that the computer uses for video output. with secondary memory, i think you mean RAM. it's random access memory which the computer uses for its system operations. this is where data and programs are loaded when the computer starts. the greater the RAM the faster the computer works since it does not have to use the harddisk for temporary storage (virtual memory).
