Would increasing my PC's RAM make recording and saving videos and movies faster?
Answers:
It's almost guaranteed that this would make a difference. 512MB of RAM really isn't a lot if you're running resource intensive task like video editing and it's not a surprise it runs badly with only 512MB in there. If you're performing these kind of tasks often then I'd actually advise you to go higher than 1GB as you'll reap even further benefits from doing so.
Yes it would make a lot of difference as more could be stored into the memory whilst the videos are being processed.
Ram does not make a huge difference, since recording and editing are reliant on CPU and GPU, but upgrading to 1GB would be a good idea, since it would improve the overall performance of your machine.
well my friend go ahead it would do you more than good it really would benefit you not only in recording and saving videos and movies better generally too.
Yes, it should. Movies and videos take up lots of RAM, easing memory pressure will prevent over-use of virtual memory and smooth things along quite nicely.
