What do you guys think of my computer specs??
Answers:
should have added more DDR2 1gb, Hard Drive add a 320 gb, what about your video card, nvidia 8500 512mb memory. your specs are very good for simple office work and browsing the internet, but for storing files it's kinda in the low end with reference to your hard disk and for gaming you will be able to run old games 2002 down but for the new games out now your computer will not be able to handle it's requirements. To add to this get the new intel core2 extreme.
Depends entirely on what you mean to do with it. For general applications, web browsing and Internet play, it's fine. If you mean to run any graphics intensive games or do video editing, it's a little scrawny. =)
bad...
its no powerhouse and expect intensive applications to run at a slow pace. it was designed to be used for general apps (microsoft office, surfing the web, etc.)
most games will run on the lowest possible setting (older games a bit higher, newer games maybe not at all)
outdated, but then again everything is outdated in the computer world.
looks like a generic Dell b210.
nothing special, but it'll surf the web and do office and email and download.
EDIT: yes, the extra ram will help. and, your processor is upgradeable to at the very least, a pentium D (dual core) and possible a core 2 duo (also dual core, but faster than a Pentium D)
Well the celeron D sucks. You must have been on a budget. Also the integrated video chip doesnt do much either. It isnt great, it ok or average.
I couldn't even play Pokemon on that platform! Gosh. I'm bored...next question.jr
