anyway to change the CPU (outside)Frequency from 100MHz to 200MHz without going in the bios ? My pheonix Awards bios v6.00PG doesnt have cpu or voltage options in the bios. I tried updating it but it had the same options..., the Mother Board is a ms-6577 from HP in the a600y desktops. Reason why is because my P4 HT 2.6 ghz Northwood is only running at 1300 mhz, Bus speed: 100.1, Rated FSB: 400
Answers:
all motherboard bios's should have settings to change clock frequency (unless HP blocked it)
make sure that the bios clock frequency settings are in "user define" mode or you won't be able to change it.
