I'm about to purchase a new Dell computer... I only need the computer and not a monitor. I'm looking for something inexpensive (under $500) but decent. I've narrowed it down to a Dimension C521, an Inspiron 530, and an Inspiron 531s. Basically I use the computer to browse the web, listen and download music, upload photos, and write Word documents. Any suggestions of which is the best of the three? They're all around the same price range. Two of them are slim line designs which I like, but I would like to also have the opportunity to expand/upgrade and I know that's not as easy with them. Thanks for the advice!

Personally, I would go with the C521. It comes with a dual core processor (the AMD Athlon 64X2) which is much better than the Celeron in the 530 or the Sempron in the 531s. The latter 2 processors are pretty much entry level and low end.
The Operating System in the C521 is also a step up compared to the other two. It comes with Vista Premium, not Home Basic.
It has 2Gb of RAM, not 1 as found in the other 2, plus it has twice the Hard Drive space.
Really, it's a no brainer. More power, RAM, hard drive space. All for the same price.
