Hard drive?

ok on windows vista how do you tranfer files from my c drive to my f drive i tried drag and drop but it copys the file

Answers:
When you try to transfer files from one drive to another, Microsoft's default is to COPY the files.
(If you try to transfer files from one location to another on the same drive, Microsoft's default is to MOVE the files)

To move the file from one drive to another, select all the files, and then drag and drop using the RIGHT mouse button.
You'll then get the option to copy or move the files.

Good luck!
Use 'cut' and 'paste' instead of dragging across. Crtl X => then in the other drive (open windows explorer) go and Ctrl V.

It should work now.
Fastest way to move files -

select the files, right click and choose "Cut". Then go to the destination folder/drive, right click and choose "Paste"
