Anyone with a dell xps laptop ?

I would avoid dell XPS, It is not worth the money, there are dozens of alternatives for less from Asus, Acer, Sony, and Toshiba.
I have been working on computers since before the pentium, and 9 out of 10 of the computers I repair are from Dell.
Alienware is owned by dell, and the hardware is EXACTLY the same, dont fall for it.
You can get a laptop with a 2ghz core 2 duo, 1gb ram, a Nvidia 8600m, 160gb hard drive, and all the same stuff Dell's have for $1300 on newegg.com, which is the webs largest most reputable hardware retailer.
This is simple as in any lap top, the faster the computer the better it is. All the perks you want are up to you, and of course will add the price.
The pros is that is a very nice lap top
The cons is that its extremely expensive.
