A question about my PC's power supply?
Answers:
The sticker may be on the closed side of the case, or just out of plain view with the cover off.
With the computer off, try to look at all six sides of the power supply for a sticer.
If your computer is a dell or made by a popular manufacture you can usually get default machine specifications on there website.
Note: I know little about electricity, but never open a Power supply unless you are trained, as fatal amounts of electricity pass through your power supply
Hope this helps -- Mike
open your pc cover and check usually it is 230V or 110V those are the most common, if your in usa your probably 110V
Usually somewhere you will find it, a gereral range is
around 350-400 watts. More if you got more to power.
If your computer is a name brand computer the information should be available via the manufacturer's website. In the US, 110volts is the standard with wattages ranging from 230watts (wts) to 500watts depending upon the computer.
Abroad, I believe 220volts is the standard and I don't know if the wattages are the same but I suspect so.
