What should I look for surrounded by buying a computer for my 12 year antediluvian son?
I want to buy a computer that may still be useable in 3 years and that will enjoy enough speed and support to maintain up with his desires.
I don't want to spend too much maybe $700 or smaller number.
Is this possible? If so, what should I get??

I would buy a desktop, as they are more "future proof" as you can upgrade components slickly.
