Why don't you just sell your current computer and use that towards the Imac?

This is a neat little trick. You'll need a 3 1/2in floppy disk
some clear nail polish a box of strike anywhere matches and a little bit of black powder(black cats, quick burn your choice)
Pulverize the match heads gently and mix them witht the powder.Slide the metal door back on the floppy disk apply a little clear coat and quickly sprinkle on the mix. A few more spots on the disk should ensure ignition in case it misses one.
Insert into victim drive and turn the mother on.
Watch it melt.
Get whipped by daddy.
Get new iMac.
