My PC will not turn off.?
Answers:
I dont know what these guys are saying but unplugging it is definitely not what you should do. Like Amy and teamsloglo said hold down the power button and wait for it to shut off then unplug it, just unplugging it puts your computer at risk to short circuit and you could inadvertently fry your computer.
PULL THE PLUG !!
It's probably just frozen while trying to process something; you can unplug it without doing any damage.
Cold boot. Hold the power button down until it turns off.
unplug it and plug it back in.
press and hold the power button
unplug it
Do what MacGuyver used to do... chew some gum & pull the power cord. Leave unplugged for atleast 60 seconds.
unplug than wait 60sec than plug it back in
simple reset it. otherwise i have no idea
Try disengaging the power cord from the wall outlet. If it is running via battery power, then it will eventually shut itself down once the battery life is gone.
this isnt a real question its just a statement so you should delete the question mark or, say "my PC will not turn off, what should i do?" or you could say "my PC won't turn off, will someone help me?" or even " My PC won't turn off, i need some ideas of how to get it off. please help me!" there all great phrases!
the only thing i wud do is unplug it works everytime!
You can always take the least preferred method, which is unplug the computer. With todays computers, you have to hold in the power button for at least 3 seconds for the computer to shut off, if nothing else is working.
