Can I use my friends office mac cd in my mac?
Answers:
The legality has already been addressed. Technically, you can install it. However, Office will try to check if anyone else on your local network is running it at the same time. If they are, it will kick you off of any Office apps running. If your friend lives in another state, not a problem. If you two spend a lot of time with your computers on the same local area network, it will be a problem.
Of course, it would be illegal anyways.
Not legally
not really no, its not legal to share that kind of cd unless it is a corporate edition or you have been given a license that allows more than one person to use the cd
if your friend bought a regular office mac cd it is not either of these, and is only legally allowed on one computer at a time, im sorry but you need to purchase your own copy
Well, technically it is licensed to 3 PCs in the same household, so go buy a $100,000 home together so you can share a $150 software title.
IDK, but I think one can install it up to 5 Macs but I don't really know the specifics if it pertains only to a home or office or just to any Macs.
