CPU format?

i want to format my computer.. but .. i want to make it into its default setting.. but there is sum stuff i dont wont to be formatted.. wut do i do :S ?

You need to backup the stuff you want to keep on a CD, DVD USB drive... or so on.
Than you can go ahead and format your hard drive (not CPU)
Well, if there is stuff you don't want to format, dont format it!

You need to backup your important files and documents to a CD or some other medium. Then you can format your computer, but to restore it to original settings you need the installation CD that came with your computer or from Microsoft.
