Amd or intel witch is better?
2.whitch will be better amd athlon 67 x2 or a intel pen 4?
3. witch processer is beeter for gaming in general intel or the amd company?
Answers:
Amd is better, faster and you need to go back to school, You can't spell!
Intel:
65nm
faster (GHz is not as important as you think)
runs cooler
very good for overclocking (using stock hsf)
45nm coming soon (2008)
cheap quad core ($330 for Q6600)
INTEL.
BY FAR.
They Just Put 4 Cores To The Floor, Quad Processor.
Very Nice.
The Release was, July I Think...
intel is overratted. Amd is giving intel a run for its money, and the only reason intel is in a lot of computers is "you give me some extra money and I'll put your proscessor in my computer"
A amd atholon 64 x2 is a processor wih two cores. Better for multitasking. But it runs on 64 bit technology which you might have a problem running some older application.
It all depends on the model number of the processor. You have amd 64 x2 model tl=56, tl 60 tl64. Which is the clock speed of the processor. The tl 64 is the biggest for a laptop which is a speed of 2.2 ghz. The same goes for intel. The higher the clock speed the better it should do on games.
Wow.some people should get up to date with current processor technology before posting. Intel is by far outperforming AMD these days (an AMD rep actually admitted to me that Intel was kicking their butts right now). Intel just released quad-core processors this past month for general retail. Also, as noted already above, Intel's 45nm processors will be here next year. Their Core2 Duo's are also quite nice & still outperform the AMD's. 64-bit is the wave of the future, true, but not much is running on 64 bit right now & even if you get 64 bit processor (which you will, pretty much with anything you go with) it will be backwards compatible to 32-bit. Right now, buy a Core 2, either Duo or quad core, whichever fits your budget better. Don't buy a P4, they are completely outdated, being a single-core processor.
Intel is currently the best in the biz right now for its top end competitor (the extreme series) but this isn't to say intels are the best for everything, I have a quad core intel in my main machine for general use, because intel is the leader in multitasking environment and the 64 bit architecture is currently a joke. BUT my work in progress is a AMD based machine because it is a good leg better then my intel at crunching my videos and the chipset is a little more RAID freindly (the last P4 chipset with a raid controller ate up 2 100 dollar hard drives). For what your most likely going to use it for I would probably go with intel.
THE ANSWER: Intel processors are far better than AMD currently. If in doubt, check out processor reviews at www.cnet.com. In your case, the athlon X2 is better than the (old) Pentium 4, but modern Intel processors (core 2 duo) are far superoir to their AMD counterparts. Get Intel, you'll be happy. Just don't get their graphics cards, they suck.
intels makes the best processors but never ever get a celeron they are just faulty IP4s
hth hope this helps
1 AMD is better/faster/cheaper
2athlon 64x2 is better,less heat,more faster
AMD 64x2 for gaming . intel for programs.
That all depends on what your in to. Pentium runs cooler and works very well on programs and Internet, but for true gaming experience it has to be the AMD. It will run a little hotter so make sure you have a very good heat sink and liquid cooled.
^some people dont know anything about computers, they just want 10 points so they guess.
the truth is, amd was doing better then intel back in the single core days, but ever since intel has been comming out with their core duo processors, they are now leading the market.
