i have a 12 in X 9.6 in. motherboard and i was wondering if it would fit into an apevia-X-Discovery-AL silver steel Atx mid tower case or if anybody could recomend a very cool looking case that it would fit into

Sounds like you do have a Micro ATX MB so I think you will be ok.
