if the copy of windows your running on your p.c is the xp in question then your in luck
go to http://www.sisoftware.net/index.html?dir... download the diagnostic program"sisoft sandra lite",this is a brilliant program with loads of info about your p.c,s hardware(c.p.u,motherboard,gra... card)and in the software>windows catergory you will find your "windows product key"
also you will find other info regarding to your copy of windows xp
this is a excellent program and is ideal if your trying to find why your p.c is playing up,and if you need some specifications when upgrading a component

you can put software into the pc and get the keys out that way, not from the disc though. look up 'product key finders' in google
go to www.insanekeyfinder.com.it will cost about 10 bucks but its worth every dime.
