My ram is 512 MB bt it shows 448 MB.. one of my game needs minimum 512 MB .. wat should i do to run that game?

Buy more RAM. You could try to play the game now, though. It might run. Poorly, mind you.

Look for a memory testing program Like memtest86. You might have a problem with your memory.
Otherwise, hit up eBay for a stick.
The OS requires some amount of RAM based on what OS you are running. Going by your statement, the only way you can run the game is to increase RAM in your system.
Paging, caching or increasing the 'Temp' space will not solve the problem.
You only have 448 because the ram is being shared with graphics.

Ram 512 Mb is distributed in ur system for other vitual memory. So u can't run the game unless u have a grafix card.
It sounds like your computer has integrated video with shared video memory. 64Mb to be exact. If the game requires 512Mb of RAM, I am guessing that it is a 3D game. Your best bet would be to purchase a new video card. If it is a laptop you would have to invest in more RAM (memory).
Upgrade your memory. Buy a 512mb to bring up to a 1 gb.
I should let you know that the reason why your getting 448 is because 32mb are being shared with your onboard video card. I strongly recommend that you install a stand alone video card of atleast 256mb if you want to get into gaming.
Your computer probably takes a AGP or PCIE Interface.
If it doesnt have either option then youl want to get a PCI interface

Thats right but you cant help it or you need to increased RAM to 1024 cause your display engage 64 kb
