Random,Access,Memory. Lets say you are working in an office, the hard drive would be your "file cabinet" you take out the work at hand, and place it on your desk, that is kinda like RAM, the material currently needed to work with.
ram stands for random access memory...its a temprory memory of the computer...the tasks are run through the ram...it is availkible in different formats like sizes of 64 mb .128 mb..256 mb..512 mb.and so on...
