Can you tell me if this computer is somewhat decent for gaming?

I'm tight on money so this is my only option. I am a student and I just want a computer that can run Halo: Combat Evolved and meets the system requirments. I will not go out and buy a graphics card, motherboard, etc. simply because I have better things to spend my money on. Here is my only option:
HP Pavilion S3120 Slimline Desktop PC

The both pretty good machine the one minus is the staples pc comes with no monitor add another $200 the bestbuy comes with a monitor but it's only a 17 fairly small for game play so actually there pretty even. Go with staples pc and shop around for a minium 19 Lcd monitor. Mine is a 22" samsung
that pc is fine for halo...everything is good procesor, ram, graphics...the only thing is with that graphics card you wont be able to set all the options at high just normal, not a big deal to most but that depends on you.
that is a nice computer. it should be albe to run halo just fine. it may not be able to use the highest graphic settings though, so you might need to go out and buy a better graphics card.
halo is old though so im guessing you wont need to.
buying computers is just like buying cars ... the more meat ... the more power you get out of it . if you are short on money and still need a good pc for gaming ... i would suggest you go in for assembled pcs ...they are cheaper than branded ones .i myself work on an assembled pc thats been running good for 7 years ...

if its gaming that you want ... try buying a xbox 360 from microsoft ... they are affordable and they are good for playing games.
its fairly decent and will play more than Halo: Combat Evolved.
they are both goo but i would go with the one from staples because it has a better processor

it also monitor but if it doesnt matter to you you can get one for only $200 at dell.com
well that should run fine. I'm guessing your going to be playing allot of online multiplayer. the only thing i would make sure of if that's the case is that you have dsl or something with a good Internet connection. and high KB/s rate. anyway idk if you can play games on dial up or anything like that with it running the online multiplayers but anyway you don't even have to meet the standards written down for any game you just got to be close and if your under the standard requirements it just adds to the possibilities of it freezing up. games don't use the max of the requirements not always but usually you have to have the standard to keep it from freezing at max gameplay basically when most of the stuff starts happening all at once. well anyway i have a computer almost like that and it works just fine for gaming so you should do fine. but when it comes to games the only things that really matter is your processor and your ram and graphics card. if they fall to short it won't play but if they are close you can usually run it but not well and if they are at the standard or exceed it then your good. well good luck and happy hunting's.
