3btech.net has a MSI 945P Platinum for 79.00 including shipping, it has a PCI express slot for a video card. I use a BFG7900GS video card, Newegg has it for about 170.00 including shipping, it handles every game I have recently bought. Memory- you need at least 1gb, 2GB would be better on board. Expect to pay about 51.00 per GB.
if you dont have an AGP or PCI-E slot then you need to upgrade your motherboard, this could be $79-$200 ( if you do it yourself) then you can get a new graphics card
Hello yourself! :)

Motherboard technology is always improving. My suggestion is to go to http://www.newegg.com and find the one that best suits your needs.

I've used the ASUS SLI Deluxe in past applications for gaming/high-end graphics needs. That was a year ago, so I'm sure there are even better ones out there.

Good luck!
Check into... asus p5b motherboard intel core2duo cpu and some good memory (low latency high mhz) consider getting into the best gfx card you can afford at this time (8800 if budget permits, x1950xt if not)

that should be enough of an upgrade to keep you busy for quite some time. The core2duo will overclock very nicely allowing you to further push the build until upgrade is absolutely necessary next time. NOTE! quad core intels have recently dropped in price very heavily. (q6600)
Check out www.tomshardware.com they do budget buildups all the time. They also rate hardware on a price/performance.
