My computer froze!! PLEASE HELP!!?

reboot into safemode with networking (hold in pwr button for 5-10 seconds)
get adaware (www.lavasoftusa.com)
get spybot (www.safer-networking.org)
get hijackthis (www.trend.com)
get winsockfix v1.2 (www.majorgeeks.com)
get the cleaner (www.moosoft.com)
get avg (free.grisoft.com)
install and update adaware/spybot/avg/thecleaner
reboot safe mode scan and clean
run hijackthis .. remove all bho's and anything else latched onto your browser.
run winsockfix
reboot..
run free online virus scans (trend/bitdefender/ect)
restart it in safe mode. if it doesnt start at all, then put your bootable CD and try to start widows using CD.
If you have a Anti-virus and spyware programs on the other computer, then turn off the power and go into Safe Mode and scan your computer
Try pressing ctrl-alt and delete at the same time
You will get a popup for running processes,end the task on these.
if this doesn't work shut down the computer,restart and go directly to the virus control and run it.
try pressing the button again and hold it down for like 5 seconds. it should turn off. You can always unplug it if that doesnt work. once you boot it up (if it lets you) try going into safe mode. Then do the system recovery in Microsoft and go back to a previous date if you have any restore points. You should download Lavasoft's Adaware for spyware and adware on your computer here's the link

and as for viruses you should download kaspersk. its available to buy but you can get a free one from
9down.com. just type kaspersky into the search and it should come up. Hope it helps!
