Computer system?

it doesn't show the sound card in "sound, video and game controllers" of the device manager, or it does, but I don't know which one it is, when expanded, there are :
-audio codecs,
-legacy audio drivers,
-legacy video capture devices,
-media control devices,
-realtek AC'97 audio,
-video codecs

which one is the sound card ?

Answers:
Click start > run > type in DXDIAG > ok.
A directX diagnostic tool opens
Click on the sound tab
You'll see the name of the device as well as driver info

Or, you can run a free diagnostic utility called Belarc Advisor to detect the sound card.
